ADAM NAYAK
Oceans As the clouds of nostalgia coast the currents of my oceans I let my core froth with the wind whitecaps cresting then falling in a constant metamorphosis you see my waters are ever expanding so vast that the changes are inconspicuous deviations seen but blue from the skies above and so I lie letting my core brew internally in transformation beneath my monochromatic waters as the world around me sees me only as my color. |
Adam Nayak lives in Portland, Oregon and attends Cleveland High School. His writing has appeared in multiple publications, including Literary Arts’ student anthology, Off Center, as well as the Oregon Poetry Association's annual journal, Cascadia. In his free time, Adam enjoys running on the cross country team and drawing.
