KAVYA CHANDRA
The spectacles I hardly ever noticed seemed to slip the crook of my nose, every time I averted my gaze to the raven perched over the roof of my neighbour's house. A raven. Watching it spread its wings with music ringing through my ears, I closed my eyes and saw it change into a sparrow, and then finally an eagle. It was as if demons were souls, and I was the one who never stopped changing. |
