GARGEE SETHE
Defiance Defiance rides a motorcycle. She is not one to be in the company of Silence and Obedience. Defiance always feels at home when she crosses the border of constraints and finds herself on the highest peak of the mountain with the wind blowing in her electric tresses. Defiance has no secrets; she has never been good at having them or keeping them. Her life reads like an open book, loud and clear. Her bold, studded accessories might lead you to believe she enjoys the company of Violence but she has abandoned him a long time ago though the case is not the same for him. She is not someone who can easily fit into the mold of a relationship though I have seen her holding hands with Confidence a few of times. When even Deceit and Cowardice cannot find her, Confidence can spot her steady feet effortlessly balanced on the smooth surface of her surfboard with ease. There is something about the thrill of surfing against the pounding flow of water that entices her. Personally, I have never been in her company but I have heard she never backs down when it comes to standing up for those she cares about. For her, laws are never written in stone, they are merely guidelines that should be broken if the good of the people is at stake. Her stern yet gentle hand might appear to be inviting but she always celebrates her birthday alone. For, if it were not for Suppression and Tyranny, she would never have been born. Next time I see her alone, I will not let Fear hold me back from putting a hand on her shoulder. |
As a girl who shares two distinct homes, India and Georgia, Gargee Sathe’s collection of thoughts is inspired by the cultures of both lifestyles. Her parents have always been patrons of the arts and all of her literary guides at school have inspired different aspects of her style.
